James Grashow: Prince of Prints

Grashow ThePrinceOfPrints.jpgThe Center for Contemporary announces the opening of its next exhibition: "James Grashow: The Prince of Prints" that will be on display September 10 through December 10, 2016 with an Opening Reception on Saturday, September 17, from 3 pm to 5 pm.  The exhibition showcases the woodcuts of Grashow, a long-time resident of Redding, Connecticut.  Executive Director Laura G. Einstein commented, “I am thrilled to exhibit the works of renowned artist James Grashow at CCP.  It has been a dream of mine to exhibit a retrospective of Jimmy’s prints and works of art at the Center.  I have long admired his works of art – from exhibitions at Allan Stone Gallery, to the documentary film, The Cardboard Bernini, to exhibitions at the Aldrich and the Taubman Museum – James is an astoundingly creative artist!” (continue reading)
